Refining Changes The Matrix
Purified sodium chloride is designed for uniformity. SALTPOP is built around a sea-mineral source with broader naturally occurring mineral context.
Ingredients
The System page explains how SALTPOP works. This page shows what is actually inside: the sea-mineral foundation, seven quantified electrolytes, fruit systems, functional acids, and high grade Reb M.
The Mineral Foundation
SALTPOP starts with ionic, sun-dried sea mineral salt instead of treating purified sodium chloride as an anonymous commodity. Supplier specifications for the selected source salt report 29.5% to 31.5% sodium and 75% to 80% sodium chloride by weight.
A lower sodium-chloride concentration leaves a larger share of the source crystal represented by moisture and non-sodium-chloride mineral components. Source-salt laboratory analysis also identifies more than 90 naturally occurring elements across major, minor, and trace levels.
Full-spectrum mineral source. Seven key electrolytes by formulation. Zero artificial anything.
The SALTPOP Salt Standard
Salt sources differ in processing, sodium-chloride concentration, moisture, and mineral composition. SALTPOP evaluates the measured profile, not a color story or a fashionable origin claim.
Purified sodium chloride is designed for uniformity. SALTPOP is built around a sea-mineral source with broader naturally occurring mineral context.
Mineral sea salts and earth salts can vary by source and lot. Specifications, laboratory analysis, and certificates of analysis matter more than broad category claims.
Pink earth salts generally owe their color to iron-bearing minerals. That color confirms iron-related compounds are present; it does not prove a broader or better-balanced mineral spectrum.
Our standard favors sun-dried sea mineral salt with lower sodium-chloride concentration and a broad, documented macro- and trace-element profile.
Current working amounts per serving from the Packaging Master Brief. Final values must match the approved production formula and final Supplement Facts panel.
Fluid distribution + nerve impulses. Sodium is the principal extracellular electrolyte and helps maintain fluid balance and membrane electrical gradients.
Fluid + acid-base partner. Chloride travels with sodium, supports extracellular fluid balance, and participates in normal acid-base chemistry.
Intracellular voltage partner. Potassium works across cell membranes with sodium to support nerve transmission and normal muscle contraction.
Energy-transfer mineral. Phosphate is part of ATP and participates directly in cellular energy storage and transfer.
Contraction signal. Calcium ions participate in normal muscle contraction, nerve transmission, and intracellular signaling.
MgATP + ion transport. Magnesium supports energy production and helps transport calcium and potassium ions across cell membranes.
Enzyme cofactor. Zinc supports numerous enzyme systems involved in normal cellular metabolism and protein synthesis.
Made with ionic sun-dried sea mineral salt, potassium phosphate, magnesium chloride, calcium citrate, zinc gluconate, citric acid, malic acid, real fruit powder, and high grade Reb M. Each ingredient supplies minerals, builds flavor, or completes the clean sugar-like taste system without sugar.
Citrus flavors use crystallized citrus components and citrus oils. Strawberry Lemonade and Mixed Berry use berry powder systems. Final legal ingredient declarations will follow each flavor's finished supplier documentation.
Provides sodium and chloride within a broader naturally occurring mineral matrix. Supplier specifications report 29.5% to 31.5% sodium and 75% to 80% sodium chloride by weight, while source-salt analysis identifies more than 90 naturally occurring elements. The distinction is mineral composition, not a "low sodium" claim for the finished SALTPOP formula.
Provides potassium for membrane electrical gradients and phosphorus as phosphate, the energy-transfer mineral built into ATP chemistry.
Raises magnesium to the formula target using a form that dissolves in water, supporting energy production, muscle and nerve function, and ion transport.
Provides calcium for normal muscle contraction, nerve transmission, and cellular signaling while citrate integrates cleanly into the acid system.
Provides quantified zinc, an essential mineral used by numerous enzyme systems involved in normal metabolism and protein synthesis.
Creates immediate tartness and brightness, particularly in the citrus flavors, while helping balance the assertive mineral profile.
Adds a smoother, more persistent tartness that gives berry and citrus flavors structure beyond a quick sour hit.
Contributes recognizable fruit character, aroma, and body so the finished drink tastes like fruit, not candy-style flavoring. Citrus and berry systems vary by flavor and will follow final supplier declarations.
A premium stevia glycoside selected for a smoother, more sugar-like finish than common Reb A-style stevia systems. It lets fruit, acid, and minerals stay forward without sucralose or artificial sweeteners.
Launch Flavor System
Crystallized lemon components and lemon oil create a bright, tart citrus profile.
Crystallized orange components and orange oil create a full citrus aroma and clean finish.
A berry powder system paired with citrus brightness for a balanced sweet-tart profile.
A deeper berry powder system designed for richer fruit character without a candy-style presentation.
Source-salt data supports the broad mineral-spectrum story. Finished-product testing, supplier documents, and the approved Supplement Facts panel will govern final launch claims and label language.
